Abrasive Wheels Training Course

This Abrasive Wheels course gives you an introduction to working safely with abrasive wheels so that you can easily identify the hazards, understand the risks and know which control measures are needed to prevent injury and ill-health.

This qualification is for people who are responsible for selecting, inspecting, mounting or using an abrasive wheel machine as part of the job.

Learners must be at least 16 years or above. We advise that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.

The SMSTS course was brilliantly delivered by Brian, considering COVID environment, it couldn't be held in a physical classroom so the course was delivered via Zoom. Just completed my SMSTS Refresher course. All felt a little weird at first due to the fact the course was delivered on zoom but the course was delivered brilliantly. The staff were easy to get along with and I would recommend anyone who needs to take one of the courses offered to do it through Know How as you wont regret it!
