Know-How Training would like to remind delegates and staff that it is essential that all COVID-19 advice is followed and that you comply with all health, safety and welfare Government-issued
guidelines in order to protect all staff and delegates. Our classroom courses have smaller attendees, and delegate and staff are to follow our strict COVID 19 rules set out in the Joining Instructions. Know-How Training would would like to sure delegates and staff we review and update guidance issued by the Governments.
The SMSTS Refresher is a 2-day training course designed for candidates who have already successfully completed the 5-day SMSTS Course and wish to renew their certification
As the Site Management Safety Training Scheme is a constantly developing course that updates and keeps students and qualified pupils abreast of any changes in Health and Safety Legislation and practice codes, it is important and a necessary aspect of the qualification to renew your knowledge and make sure you are up to date with current law, not just as an individual, but as an organisation.
The SMSTS course Liverpool based firm Know-How Training Ltd offer is one of the best and most respected qualifications those in managerial and supervisory positions can acquire. Keeping up to date with the needed qualifications and current Health and Safety on-site training, provides the assurance needed for those under the site managers care, that he/she is fully equipped to spot and minimise risk, preventing potentially dangerous situations and hazards on the worksite.
In order for the CITB Site Management Safety Training course to remain valid, all delegates must undertake the SMSTS Refresher course prior to the expiry of their SMSTS certification.
CITB grants are available for all eligible employers, or those registered to CITB.
The refresher course aims to:
- improve awareness of recent developments in construction, legislation and health, safety, welfare
and environmental issues - identify measures that will assist the practical
- implementation of responsibilities established by new
legislation and new working practices.
All SMSTS course certificates are valid for 5 years from the date of issue and delegates will be required to provide proof that their current SMSTS certification is up to date in order to attend the Refresher Training.
