About Our SSSTS Courses

In 2020, 81,000 construction workers reported they suffered from work-related ill-health, including 47% falling from a height. Site managers should, therefore, learn how to take preventative steps to ensure the safety of their personnel. At Know-How Training, we offer an extensive range of CITB Site Safety Plus courses, including a Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS course). We offer both online virtual remote learning and face-to-face courses, so you are sure to find the right style of teaching to suit your needs.

Online Remote

Our online courses support managers and supervisors by improving their understanding of health and safety in work environments. We can provide 2 day and 1 day Refresher covering various topics, including identifying hazards, implementing safety measures, reporting injuries, and more. The certification lasts for five years and facilitates career progression. Completing the SSSTS course online is an excellent solution for those with travel restrictions and enables supervisors across the country to benefit from our expert teaching.

Face-to-Face Learning

We also provide in-person courses in London, Manchester, Liverpool, and Lancashire. We follow Government-issued advice to protect our staff and clients. Our face-to-face teaching is completed in small classrooms, with an excellent standard of support throughout the process.

An Overview of The Course

Our training covers a range of topics, providing an outstanding level of understanding to successful candidates. After completing the learning, you gain vital skills and knowledge, including how to protect the health of your workforce, how to identify and handle hazardous substances, and how to control exposure to noise and vibration.

Completing the Course

After we have taught you everything you need to know, there will be an assessment and a three-part trainer review to ensure you are ready to prevent injuries on site. Candidates must pass an exam and trainer review. This ensures the integrity of the certification and guarantees candidates have fully understood and learnt the material.
